History: James started his training aged 14 with musical theatre at Stage 84. James later gained a Diploma in Dance from Leeds City College, and attended the NSCD CAT scheme and Phoenix Youth Academy Seniors. Before gaining a place on the BA programme at NSCD he studied on the Access to HE course in 2018/19.
Apprentice dancers are postgraduate Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD) students, who work with the company as a significant part of their MA in Contemporary Dance Performance course.
