As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on an incredible year of storytelling, movement, and creativity.
Spring began with magic as The Velveteen Rabbit toured across Northumberland and took to the stage at Sadler’s Wells in London, touching hearts young and old.
Becoming part of the West Newcastle community has been a true joy. From establishing our Creative Studio and our Youth Academy, to running inspiring workshops and shows for local schools, we are so proud to nurture creativity and connection in our neighborhood.
Our production of The Becoming gave us the chance to open the doors of our West End Newcastle venue, welcoming audiences to share in a journey of transformation with us.
This year brought two stunning productions of Snow White to Northern Stage, Newcastle, this Autumn:
Film-making magic continued with Rapunzel Red and our collaborative project A is for Alma with North East artist Katie Cuddon.
Our Weekly Feel Good Dance Classes brought joy, movement, and connection to people of all ages, while our Knitters, Movers & Shakers group lovingly knitted and crocheted pieces for our productions.
We close the year with festive delight, bringing The Velveteen Rabbit to life for Christmas at Gosforth Civic Theatre.
A heartfelt thank you to our audiences, participants, community, and funders for your support, inspiration, and for being part of our incredible journey this year.
Here’s to an even more exciting 2025!
